The CFHS Orchestra Booster Club is a non-profit organization run by parents to support the CFHS orchestra program in partnership with the CFSD Director of Orchestras, Mr. Ryan Watson. All families of orchestra students are encouraged to participate in the Booster Club!
We work to support the experience of music for students and families in many ways, including:
support concerts, events, and other experiences
plan orchestra community gatherings and celebrations
offset the cost of field trips
support recruitment and outreach
We know there are dozens of worthy causes competing for your talent, time, and finances. We also care deeply about supporting programs that truly impact students. Here are three easy ways you can support the orchestra program:
Become a Friend of the Orchestra by donating at any level. Friends of the Orchestra from First Chair level and up will receive a gift of 2 tickets per concert for the full school year!
The CFHS Orchestras perform approximately four full concerts per year in the beautiful CFHS Music Hall. We always appreciate interest in staffing the door, or decorating for the Winter holiday concert. Orchestra concerts have a suggested ticket donation to attend: $8 per adult and $2 per student or senior. Friends of the Orchestra from First Chair level and up receive a gift of 2 tickets per concert for the full school year!
Chaperone festival and other field trips - a big need!
Donations of snacks and other small supplies
Support concerts and special events locally
Support Fall picnic/BBQ, End of Year Banquet and other community events
Lead or support our fundraising projects
Email the Booster Club directly with your ideas -- we are excited to hear from you.
The CFHS Orchestra Booster Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and your donation is tax-deductible according to your tax situation.
